Le Ore Danzanti — “The Dancing Hours” — is a faithful reproduction of the celebrated neoclassical sculpture originally conceived by the Italian master Carlo Finelli in 1824. Finelli, one of the most gifted disciples of the great Antonio Canova, created the original as a testament to grace, movement, and the fleeting beauty of time. That work has since found its permanent home among the treasures of the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, where it remains one of the collection’s most admired pieces.
Commissioned by a private client and completed in January 2026, this reproduction was executed entirely in Bianco P Marble — a material whose luminous white tone and fine crystalline grain make it ideally suited to capturing the delicate folds, flowing forms, and ethereal lightness that define Finelli’s vision. Every surface was finished entirely by hand, honoring the same traditions of craftsmanship that shaped the original nearly two centuries ago.
The result is more than a copy. It is a dialogue between past and present — a work that carries the spirit of 19th-century neoclassicism into a contemporary private space, rendered with the precision, reverence, and artistry that only true stone carving mastery can achieve.
