Probably unique. Late 19th century. Artist unknown. Acquired from the Pietrasanta studio of Cesare Viviani. Made in the Liberty style, the Italian version of Art Nouveau. The artisan finishing a copy of the dancer is a raspatore—a specialist in the rasp. He worked for the Cerviettis for decades, retiring at 95.
